Kenneth G. Lee of San Antonio just finished his most recent painting. It is an adaptation of a water-color sketch by Robert E. Lee during his time in San Antonio serving as Captain in the Mexican-American War. Though time has brought trembling to his artistic hands, the eighty-seven year old great-grandfather continues to create his works strictly for his family and friends. “He uses his gift to create art which he gives us as gifts,” his grandson recognizes. Self-taught, his works range from gifted too exquisite. Ken is humble in a way that all great Texans are. I look forward to his next masterpiece.
